Meek Mill has already been trounced by Drake in their rap wars, but he’s still trying to keep the feud going. Unfortunately, he just made things worse by taking some harsh shots at Caitlyn Jenner! Meek, using transphobic language to go after Drizzy is a new low!
We’re shaking our heads over this one. Meek Mill, 28, has been losing big time in his rap war withDrake, also 28. But apparently he thinks dragging Caitlyn Jenner, 65, into this mess is a good idea. Meek used the offensive remarks during a freestyle rap at his tour stop in Philadelphia Aug. 6, and as usual it came across as a pretty weak hit against Drake.
Meek is still going after Drake during his Pinkprint tour with girlfriend Nicki Minaj, 32. First he dragged Nicki into the fray and then went on to slander Caitlyn! In a totally uncalled for line that he obviously thought was funny, Meek freestyled “Niggas turn to hos, Caitlyn Jenners turn to Drizzy Drakes.” WHAT?! Implying transgender women turn to Drake is a new low in this ridiculous rap war.
It didn’t end there. He also called out Drake as “Wheelchair Jimmy” from his long ago character on Canadian TV’s Degrassi, where he was shot and confined to a wheelchair. We have a feeling Drake is somewhere laughing his head off at such weak call outs, or he’s in the studio writing another rap that will put Meek in his place yet again.
The pair have been going at it since Meekaccused Drake of using a ghostwriter for his raps. Drizzy responded with two scathing tracks – “Charged Up” and “Back to Back” – that lit the internet on fire and made a mockery of Meek. After endless online taunts and memes from fans he finally responded on July 30 with the track “Wanna Know” that didn’t even come close to the level of scorching Drake sent his way. It did the opposite. It make Meek look like serious weak sauce.
The taunting continued at Toronto’s OVO Fest Aug. 3 where Drake showed fans memes of Meek projected onstage, as well as his A-list pals Kanye West and Will Smith laughing hysterically backstage at the big screen disses.
Drake even felt sorry for Meek’s pathetic attempt to diss him in “Wanna Know.” “That was the worst attempt at a diss Drake’s heard in a minute,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on Aug. 5. “In all honesty, Drake felt bad for Meek. Meek can’t rap, he has no sense of style when it comes to fashion, and to add to his list of can’ts, the dude can’t even talk s— properly! It’s just sad.”
Now Meek’s dragging Caitlyn and transgender women into this feud. He’s just making things worse for himself by coming across as a transphobe. Caitlyn as been quite active on social media since her transition, and we can’t wait to hear what she thinks of being dragged into this childish rap war.
